Hua Hin Kite Festival. Dates to be confirmed, appears not to be happening this year. The Asean conference is now over, rumours of 4000 hangers on arriving turn out to be a white elephant. More like 4000 people left town because of restrictions to parking etc. Wholesale beer and spirit prices are on the rise again and yet again we will try and not raise prices. Beer of the month this month is Blackthorn cider after being very successful last month. New this year is the Black Mountain Masters held from the 26th-29th |

Hua Hin Half Marathon. 5th April Hin Lek Fai. Half Marathon start time 5.30am, quarter Marathon 6.00am, fun run 3km 6.15am. Free shuttle bus from the clock tower starts 4.30.

Honda music festival from May 2nd on Takiab beach Government raises tax on alcohol and cigarettes called sin tax's to pay for short fall in economy. All tax's were raised as of midnight Wednesday 5th. Three to six baht on a bottle of beer and ten to twenty five baht on a bottle of spirits. We will again try and hold the current price level as long as possible. |
